Produced by Dreamworks Animation and Aardman Features, Flushed Away is the third collaboration between the two studios. The two previous movies, Chicken Run and the Academy Award® winning Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, were both filmed using clay figures in stop-motion animation, a signature of the UK studio Aardman Features. Flushed Away marks the studio’s transition to CG animation, but both studios worked hard to retain some of the charm and puppet-like qualities of the traditional Aardman film.

The story of an uptown rat that gets flushed down the toilet from his penthouse apartment, ending in the sewers of London, where he has to learn a whole new and different way of life.
