Favourite Film from the 1970′s was Star Wars, followed very closely by locally filmed Get Carter. Whitley Bay Film Festival were unable to secure the license for Star Wars but Get Carter was shown as part of the secret screening on Friday 27th August 2010.

Okay so we have the 1970′s as our theme for this years favourite film and we need your votes over the next week to decide your favourite. Once the votes are in we will work our hardest to get it screened at the festival.
